THE first ‘Platinum Edition’ 3CX backhoe loaders, produced to mark JCB’s 70th anniversary, have been unveiled.
70 of the machines, in livery last seen more than 40 years ago on the JCB 3C III model, will be manufactured and despatched to customers around the world – one for every year.
The machines contain red buckets, full white cab and red wheels. The limited edition models have a top speed of 40kph. Other features include air-conditioned cabs, a heated seat and a six-speed Autoshift transmission.
Yvette Henshall-Bell, JCB backhoe loader MD, said, “There has been a huge amount of interest in these special backhoes. They look absolutely stunning and we are delighted that customers from all over the world are ordering them.”
