AB2000 has placed an order for a number of SANY SY215C 22t crawler excavators after being impressed by their performance on two of Scotland’s most challenging construction projects.
The machines have been involved in the new Forth Crossing and the M74 motorway upgrade schemes. TDL Equipment, the UK distributors of SANY crawlers, said the excavators had “stood up to the challenge and performed well on both projects”.
Equipped with Isuzu engines and Kawasaki hydraulics, the first two machines will be despatched to AB2000 before Christmas, with more to follow in the New Year.
