MACHINERY buyers can join real auction action at a most spectacular location on Saturday November 7.
Ritchie Bros. will hold an unreserved auction at construction-themed amusement park Diggerland in Kent. Over 300 equipment items are included in the auction, from known brands such as JCB, Komatsu, Manitou and Terex.
The inventory covers a wide range of items, from diggers and dump trucks, to backhoes, telehandlers and more. Anyone who registers to join the auction on-site as a bidder receives entrance to the park, where several attractions will be opened for the day, concluding with a fireworks display.
Registering to bid at the auction is free and people are advised to arrive early to ensure entry. Those who are unable to join the auction in person can register online via rbauction.com or by proxy.
On auction day there will be a charity auction, which has been supported by a number of companies including Ridgway Rentals and Hawk Plant Hire. There are several items to be sold, for example, a child’s pedal tractor, a scale model of a Komatsu HD605 dump truck and an electric go kart. The proceeds will go to The Lighthouse Club who provides aid to construction workers who have suffered an accident or illness.
