BLUE Machinery Scotland has reported that the 1000th piece of equipment sold by the company has gone to the same customer who bought the first one!
Bonnybridge-based Central Demolition was the very first customer for Blue Machinery Scotland, purchasing a Powerscreen Powergrid 17 years ago.
The latest addition to Central’s fleet of demolition, recycling and materials handling equipment follows in the footsteps of the original 1998 purchase, being another Powerscreen machine, this time a Premiertrak 400 mobile jaw crusher.
Central Demolition is a multi-disciplined organisation specialising in demolition and dismantling, licensed asbestos removal, earthmoving, site clearance, plant and tipper hire and recycling. Formed in 1993, the firm has become a leading national organisation in its specialist fields.
Central Demolition’s Managing Director, Ross Craig, said, “Both businesses have developed and grown over the years and we have built up an excellent working relationship with Blue Machinery Scotland during this time which has benefited both parties.
Blue Machinery Scotland’s Managing Director Austin Carey said, “We have always realised a key to the success of our business is a good relationship with customers.
“I would like to emphasise how much we value the loyalty shown to us by organisations such as Central Demolition and our many other clients throughout Scotland and the North-East of England, which has helped us to achieve this 1000th machine milestone.”
