GAP Event Services has been nominated for two prestigious Event Production Awards in what has been a hugely successful first year for one of the newest division of GAP Hire Solutions.
The awards in the Best Crowd Barrier Company and Best Lighting Company categories highlight GAP Event Services work in the sector, supplying many high profile events such as the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glastonbury, Le Tour de France and the Ryder Cup. GAP Event Services recently supplied an event with the largest lighting requirement in Scotland, as well as over 18000m of crowd barriers.
GAP Event Services was launched in 2014 alongside GAP’s other new divisions: Welfare Services, Survey & Safety and Vehicle Hire. They join GAP’s already established Plant & Tool Hire, Lifting Hire & Sales and Non-Mechanical divisions.
The Event Production awards celebrate the UK’s top event suppliers, manufacturers and teams with the ceremony being held on 1st April in London.
Division manager Aaron Cooke said, “Our nominations are a testament to the massive amount of hard work and commitment we have put in to supplying some of the UK and Europe’s biggest events since our launch last year. Our aim is to offer the events market a unique hire solution with the backing of GAP’s other 7 divisions and this seems to be working very well. It’s great to receive the recognition, as we are relatively new to the events industry.”
