Morris Leslie, the national plant hire company specialising in event management, assisted with the remembrance poppies installation at the Tower of London.
The firm supplied a Manitou MT625 telescopic handler for the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red memorial.
Five million people visited the Tower to view the 888,246 ceramic poppies, with each flower representing a British and Colonial military fatality during the First World War.

With the installation now being deconstructed, a group of 11,000 volunteers have been removing 75,000 poppies per day from the Tower of London’s moat since November 12th.
Individual poppies have been sold for £25, with the millions of pounds raised donated to six service charities: Confederation of Service Charities (COBSEO); Combat Stress; Coming Home; Help for Heroes; Royal British Legion and SSAFA (formerly the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association).
