APPEARING for the first time, the new generation of Bobcat 1-2 tonne compact excavators will be a highlight of the Doosan Construction Equipment stand at the 2015 Executive Hire Show (EHS).
Part of a comprehensive choice of equipment for the plant and tool hire industry, the new Bobcat range will be joined by products from Doosan Portable Power and Montabert, including the 7/31E+ ‘Tough Top’ portable compressor and the Montabert SC8 hydraulic breaker, together with a selection of air-powered Doosan breakers and tools.
The new range of Bobcat 1-2 tonne excavator models comprises the E17, E19 and E20 compact excavators. The models are towable on trailers for up to 2000 kg, with transportability further enhanced by new tie-down points. An expandable undercarriage, automatic slew brake and advanced diagnostics and instrumentation are just some of the many standard features included on all three excavators.
These new high performance excavators provide a combination of class-leading breakout forces, working range, smoothness, hydraulic output and fast cycle times. The unique hydraulic systems make the best possible use of the engine power on the excavators. Fast cycle times, combined with smooth control of the class-leading breakout forces provide maximum productivity. Boom and arm cylinder cushioning, another unique feature in this class of excavator also increases overall smoothness.
As well as offering outstanding durability, the canopy on Doosan Tough Top portable compressors is also non-corrodible and can be supplied in customer colours. The Yanmar-powered 7/31E+ model supplies 3.0 m3/min of compressed air at 7 bar output pressure. Like all Tough Top models, the 7/31E+ compressor has an intuitive, simple key-start sequence. Serviceability is also excellent, with easy access to all maintenance points.
Doosan Portable Power also offers a comprehensive range of portable generators and lighting products for the plant and tool hire industry. Completing the line-up are construction tools such as air-powered chipping hammers, pickhammers, jackhammers and paving breakers for work in demolition, utilities, quarrying and industrial markets.
The stand display at EHS 2015 will also feature the Montabert range, offering tools for use on machines as diverse as compact loaders and 90 tonne excavators, with a comprehensive selection from hydraulic breakers to crusher buckets, covering every application in demolition and recycling from primary and secondary demolition to handling, sorting and recycling.
The SC8 model being shown is one of nine models in the Montabert Silver Clip hydraulic breaker range running from the 65 kg SC-6 model to the 500 kg SC-50 breaker for carriers ranging from 700 kg to 14 tonne.
