BLACKWOOD Plant Hire bought two Hydrema 922D dump trucks at the Hillhead exhibition in June.
Both machines came complete with the optional 800mm LGP tyres and hydraulic tailgates. They have been put straight to work on muck shifting jobs and are performing well.
Blackwood Plant opted for the Hydrema because they wanted a truck that could carry a similar payload as the traditional 25 t machines but could operate off road in poor conditions all year round.
The Hydrema is designed for low ground pressure applications but with a very high power to weigh ratio making it suitable for all earth moving jobs but in particular those involving poor ground conditions.
