The new KAB DRC ACTIVE AIR suspension seat for tractors and plant

THOMAS Scott Seating are celebrating their 90th year in business in 2014.

Formed in 1924 by Thomas Scott, the firm originally supplied to the tram industry before branching out into bus parts.
In 1968 they secured a distributorship for KAB Seating (then known as BOSTROM). The rest, as they say, is history with the Coatbridge-based firm becoming one of the leading suppliers of specialist seats and chairs to all types of industries.
Today they supply seats to everyone from Renault and Scania to Caterpillar and Terex.
Visitors to their ScotPlant stand will be able to see the likes of their Grammer seats, which are available for applications such as dumptrucks, tractors, forklifts, excavators and control cabs.
The company will also be exhibiting their KAB and Sears seating products.
Thomas Scott Seating marked their 90th birthday by moving to new custom built premises allowing them to supply a better service with larger stock levels and now their own in-house seat repair and re-trimming facility.
